Parenting in Stepfamilies
Making stepfamilies work for everyone in the family is one of the most difficult and least intuitive aspects of parenting.
 
This workshop series helps parents understand the process of making a stepfamily work, including how to create new routines and traditions.  It also gives parents guidelines and skills for understanding the difficulties children face and how to help them adjust to stepfamily life.  In addition, this series teaches the keys to preserving the couple relationship in the midst of the almost inevitable difficulties.  Different workshops are scheduled throughout the year and topics include:
